Truth or Lies – Office of the Wetsuweten

Absolutely staggering news, from a source I have traditionally despised due to its connections with racism. So before you look at who the messenger is, examine the evidence presented. Its nothing short of staggering.

I will be the first to admit, using this reference was a bit akin to keeping a barf bag handy, but still we had to put truth ahead of our pride.

From the BC Treaty commission, note the overlapping claims that the chiefs do not want to discuss.

We have been duped by a group of people, and given them credibility, as a sense of penance for what Canada has done to First Nations. Behind the cloth (or blankets) lies a completely untold story, that contradicts everything the Hereditary Chiefs (all from Moricetown) have said in public.

Like I said, forget the messenger, look at the message, examine it, and yes if it makes you angry you have a right to be, they duped a lot of people.

Watch all of it, look at the documents.

I will be the first to say that he (Rebel Media) has a lot of it wrong in regards to who the Office of the Wet’suwet’en is vs the band with the same name. And yes the band by that name did sign an agreement with LNG as did Witset. (Moricetown)

However its worth watching, it is very revealing in regards to actual land claims and massive depts by the Office of the Wet’suwet’en.

The story gets to be more accurate around the 4 minute mark. Staggering is the admission the Office of the Wet’suwet’en are not negotiating land claims by their own admission.

How can they claim to be the official representatives when if fact they admit to having quit negotiations? What choice has the band office got when the only people who in theory have the right to negotiate claims quit the job?

If your not negotiating on behalf of the Wet’suwet’en, then by your own negligence you have made the bands who act on behalf of the people, the official representatives of  Wet’suwet’en territory.

There is no law that makes this “Chief’s Club or Corporation” the official voice of the Wet’suwet’en, you were the official voice until you abandoned your claim.

You have to sift through some of the Rebel “stretch or stench” but admissions from the Office of the  Wet’suwet’en are staggering. The fact that the Office is operating on Tides funding and other AMERICAN funding is mind blowing and disgusting.

Here we are discovering that the office is a mens club of hereditary chiefs running a business called Office of the  Wet’suwet’en, for profit. There are no guarantees who will be the benefactors.

Almost all Wet’suwet’en people sincerely believed the Office of the Wet’suwet’en was negotiating a treaty, and all this time these few chiefs are just a boys club that was hiding the real truth from the other elders, chiefs and people.

They blew 14 million dollars and that dept is still outstanding that was loaned to be able to complete land claims, the money is gone and they admit they quit negotiating back in 2009.

The Office of the Wet’suwet’en now works for American environmental organizations, it no longer represents the 5 clans in land claims negotiations. They are still listed, but to be officially recognized they need to be sitting at that table. Instead they admit they are behind the aboriginal uprising at the Morice River.

There is no evidence whatsoever they are trying to claim that land in negotiations, nor are they doing so in the court. Maybe that is their strategy, to get enough funds from anarchists, shit disturbers and environmental organizations from all over the world to fund themselves back into the court or simply keep the cash as payments for their efforts. Sadly a judge might ask them why the refused to negotiate as per suggestion by the court in the Delgamuukw case and suggest they better start late as opposed to never.
