Without a doubt there is an all-out war to kill off what remains of our traditional and natural salmon and other species of fish that inhabit the rivers and coastline of British Columbia.

Primarily in the headlines today is the deadly poisonous snake called “Northern Gateway” that starts in Alberta plans are set to have it pump its toxins into Supertankers and any subsequent disaster is worth it, if you’re an investor from Alberta.

There is one theory that does make sense to money hungry selfish bastards, and that is kill all the wild natural fish, and the only fish humans will be able to eat will belong to them, they can control both volume and price without any human interference.

Sea lice and farmed salmon viruses are the latest and greatest threat to wild salmon stocks.

The one thing Enbridge and Mainstream Canada have in common is the sheer number of foreign interests dictating the rules to Canadians.

Neither gives a damn; pardon my tongue about science, evidence or the citizens of British Columbia. Stephen Harper and Joe Oliver have both been party to a very communist method of silencing the public with gad order, gag edicts and gag threats.

This brings me to our focus today; a Norwegian Company that is trying to make itself appear like it is a good Canadian corporate citizen wants to cut the tongue off anyone who dares to speak the truth about the very serious hazards of both salmon farming and eating farmed salmon.

These mega millionaires don’t want the facts on the table, they don’t want anyone to speak a word about what they are doing to our province, and they will sue your ass off if you dare try.

Don Staniford who has done such an incredibly good job at exposing the truth about fish farms also learned that doing such charitable work in a foreign country can cost you dearly. Here is a man who should be nominated for the Marine Environment Protection Award and instead Canada allows him to be prosecuted for his generous contribution to the protection of Canada’s natural environment.

This brings us to the crux of the problem, if corporations are allowed to sue every critic, and by critic I mean a singular human being that says anything that could be construed as defamation, then free speech is already dead.

I do hope our courts are not obligated to pursue the interests of foreign corporations, particularly when it is our Canadian assets that are at stake.

And why the hell should I not be allowed to ask everyone in the world to refuse to shop in any store that carries Mainstreams salmon products. Why should I not be allowed to tell them that if Mainstream Canada can cut the tongue out of one man they can cut all of our tongues out.

The single greatest travesty in all of this is that we are allowing messenger to get shot in order to kill the message. We, meaning allowing our courts to even pursue a case against Don Staniford in the first place.

Have our right to free speech fallen so far down the gutter that Canada allows the following demands by Mainstream Canada?

So before the edict is handed down, making it illegal to publish this article, as a citizen of Canada, I found it my duty to let you the public know.

Not that I give a damn about a lawsuit by Mainstream Canada, if they do get the clearance to shut me up, a thousand voices will appear from all over the world to replace mine.

I don’t and won’t even begin to claim to be any kind of expert on fish farms however there are many good people out there, with a lot more credibility than Mainstream Canada, or its purchased science or its hired lawyers.

My primary concern here is the loss of our rights to express ourselves with words or images, or bumper stickers or any other means of communication and this is what Mainstream Canada wants to take away from all Canadians and obviously all foreigners as well.

Mainstream Canada wants to make it illegal to tell a message by means of a visual image like this one.

For more information of fish farms in particular salmon farms please see the website of Alexandra Morton, who has a phenomenal record of expertise on this subject.

For more information on the trial of Don Staniford.

This is a Feb 29th 2012 Update.

Gagging the Truth Becomes Mainstream | Global Alliance Against Industrial Acquaculture

“Following the publication on Facebook of a new mock cigarette packet (see above), Cermaq’s heavy-handed lawyers in Canada are seeking to re-open the proceedings at trial.  The following letter was sent by David Wotherspoon, legal counsel for Mainstream Canada (a subsidiary of the Norwegian Government-owned corporation Cermaq), to the Supreme Court of British Columbia on Friday (24 February). ”

Note: I created that image, however these fools want to attribute the image to Don Staniford. This is just more more example of my point, the point of the article. The point is that shutting down anyone who speaks against Mainstream is more important than the truth.

Mainstream has just proved that it is not about the truth, but it is about vengeance against a man who has revealed the truth.

I will be more than happy to appear in court, if you folks at Mainstream will be kind enough to pick up the tab for my attendance. But then I don’t expect you will even want me to appear and provide proof that you are motivated by vengeance, and not the application of fair and just laws.

Below is a copy of Mainstream’s application to the Supreme Court.

  1. Please see the following article. http://salmonfarmingkills.com/blog/gagging-truth-becomes-mainstream They are accusing Don Staniford of creating an image that belongs to me.

  2. Don Staniford wins! Our courts have upheld the right to free speach!
