Recall the days when you called the operator and a real person answered the phone?
Those were our jobs, now look where they are and look at what the pay these people. Our jobs went to third world nations; in order to pay wage compensation would be illegal in Canada.
Today in Canada there is segment of the population that never works, they never produce anything, they are the ones who have all the money, and those people who do the physical work and produce the goods struggle to survive.
Not that long ago, Canada was thriving as a nation, proud of its culture and we were internationally known as “Peace Keepers” today the majority of Canadians are suffering from the hardships imposed on them by a new elite class of people, most are not even Canadian and the word “Homeless” is becoming a norm.
Times have really changed, if you’re local bank wants to sell you additional services, you get a call from India, or rather you get bombarded with calls where everyone at the call center appears to be too stupid to know that you have already be harassed several times in one week for the same promotion.
If you need any kind of service other than direct labor, you get someone from the third world nation, someone who in spite of this job, still suffers even more than you or I do.
So what was gained and what was lost by this change, and should this practice even be legal if the company is to be based or operate in Canada?
Now nearly every business in Canada is cutting customer service costs, they have opted to under pay people outside of Canada, as opposed to paying Canadians either minimum wage, or God forbid anything over and above that. Again we should be asking, should this practice ne legal?
Ask yourself, how long will it be before CIC is outsourced, or for that matter every Government job? Our governments have slashed corporate taxes; boosted government funding by way of corporate welfare, and opened the door to ridding corporations of unionized workers so they can enjoys the benefits of human slavery. So why then would our governments not feel entitled to do the same thing?
If outsourcing was the answer to hiring human slaves abroad, why would it be any surprise that they would create a new law that would allow the use of human slaves in Canada to compete directly with Canadians to insure lower wages will be accepted?
Has anyone checked recently how many corporate jobs are now paid at minimum wage? How many industry giants are paying minimum wage? How many box stores, grocery chains, hardware chain stores, in particular ever store that is owned by people who buy and trade shares? By that 1% who never produce anything? Is the goal to open these jobs to human slaves from abroad?
How many of you have heard those tearful excuses; if not for minimum wage they would not even have a job?
I have said it before, and I will say it again, if a human being (employer) is not capable of paying the cost of living to another human (employee) then it is better the employer goes back to being an employee than robbing one mans life to enrich his/her own.
In Canada we allow corporations to replace the majority of full time jobs and replace them with part time jobs, to avoid paying what is required of them by law.
In a nutshell Canada allows corporations (one set of humans) to replace, displace, and cheat another set of humans out of rightful compensation, so that one set of humans gets rich at the expense of the other set who are often deprived of basic needs to survive and depend on a second job or third job to acquire their basic needs.
Again I pose the question, should this practice be legal in Canada?
Canada has many of its citizens working overtime; at less than the cost of living so that, one set of humans can exploit and abuse the others.
Canada has now opened the door for the benefit of one set of humans to abuse another, by now allowing employers to import human slaves from third world nations to compete directly for our so called lucrative minimum wage salaries, so that those getting minimum wage today will consider themselves lucky to have a job.
Look at the bitching and whining by these despicably greedy and selfish members of the Chamber of Commerce in British Columbia when it was decided to play catch up with the minimum wage in BC.
British Columbia already had the dishonorable distinction as having the worst pay for human labor in Canada, and these despicable leaches have the audacity to complain about it?
Many of the BC Chambers members drive a Mercedes, own million to multi million dollar estates, own luxury yachts and have dining budgets that total greater than what they pay a person on minimum wage.
Then they instruct their accountants write off the expense these dining budgets and let the tax payer pick up the tab. Some corporations fly a Learjet from one operation to another inside BC to have coffee with their managers, and then write the expense off as a business expense, leaving the working class to pay for this abuse.
Employees who will never qualify to own a home, struggle to put food on the table, and the BC Chamber of Commerce expects these people to feel sorry for them.
The Chamber of Commerce today is not a group of caring people promoting business for the benefit of the public, they are the parasites that live off of the public, they lost all their respect, they have become what we in Canada are most ashamed of. They have become a den of thieves whose only concern is to gouge people out of their last dollar.
There must be several million people working in Canada today that are subjected to numerous labor code violations and are at the complete mercy of their employers, making a mockery out of everything we call a civilized democracy today.
These human slaves are bound by the fear deportation, if they so much as sneeze at the wrong time, let along dare to speak out, that is what keeps them from speaking out or reaching out to other Canadians.
Our Conservative Government in Ottawa has made it perfectly clear then anyone who dares to be a whistle blower will walk the proverbial gang plank. These employees work with no schedule at all, they are on call 24/7 and volunteer all their overtime hours, or the gang plank, getting kicked out of Canada for being a bad employee, labeled and convicted without due process as being an undesirable in Canada.
Black listed, black balled by a government hell bent on making slaves out of everyone who is not on their elite list.
You might be asking why? Why would they do this?
All of these people fought hard to get a job in Canada, often they had to pay to get on a short list, where they were told that they need to sacrifice two years of their lives working in fast food outlets, kitchen and restaurant workers, and any job where you can have abusive employers and Canadian citizens are not desperate enough to take as a job.
This is not a lot different from the abuses that caregivers receive in despite the pretentious laws that do more to deceive the general public than they do to protect these abused citizens who were already suffering before they came to Canada, now we abuse them even more, how shameful!
Our Canadian Government sells its deceitful lie about how these people can become one of us, a Canadian citizen, and lie to the public about just how much they must sacrifice to get there.
Caregivers must work 3 not two years to get qualified for a PR card, what they do not tell Canadians is that these slaves can only apply for a PR Card after two years of service, however it still takes another year before they are actually a permanent resident.
Does anyone think that a person living on minimum wage for two years has enough savings not to work the third year? Our government will not allow them to do any other work? So why not be honest about it, they must do three years of servant/slave service, a very humbling experience no Canadian would ever consider?
The lie is by perpetuated by employers and the institutions that solicit people in third world nations, there is no assurance any temporary foreign workers can stay in Canada at all. Almost every case where you interview such a person they are fully convinced that this job is the doorway into becoming a Canadian.
How is that possible? Who lied to these desperate people? Should this be legal in Canada?
There are some provincial short term allowances, which may lead to a worker to become a permanent resident (PR Card) However before that happens an employer sponsored application must be made, meaning their lives remain in the hands of the employer to become, not 2 year workers, but semi permanent slaves to the employers good graces, or they will be sent home.
Remember this; there is no protection, because Canada will not tolerate whistle blowers, they will be banned from ever working in Canada again.
One might say Canada opened the door to business to acquire humans in a perfect permanent hostage environment, where you can get unlimited labor out of people, and hold the key to their dreams to keep them from speaking out.
This is not the Canada I signed up for, this is not the Canada our soldiers went to war for, this is not the Canada I swore to protect and serve, this is economic terrorism and clearly everything points directly to our elected officials who should all be charged with dereliction of duty.
They should be charged with treason, and their incomes as well as their pensions should be taken away as proceeds of crime.
What ever happened to a Canada that cared about its citizens? Today we are a shameful disgrace to everything our forefathers tried so hard to achieve in creating this great nation.
I have not given up, and I hope you have not either, it’s our country, not theirs, and it will belong to our children, not theirs.
Hats off to all of you who are standing strong in the Occupy Wall Street, both in Canada and all over the world, you are the people who are standing up to the abuse our governments have permitted.
